Berkshire South announces 2014 Gala honoree
Great Barrington, MA – Berkshire South Regional Community Center (BSRCC) is thrilled to announce the selection of local philanthropist and community advocate Barbara Manring as its 2014 Gala honoree.
Barbara Manring has been an enthusiastic supporter of Berkshire South since its doors opened in 2002. As a strong ambassador for the Center, Barbara has served in many capacities; Board of Trustees, staff (fitness trainer), Co-chair of the Annual Appeal Task Force, Co-chair of the first Fairy Tale Ball honoring founder Ed Jaffe. Currently Barbara sits on the Fund Development Committee.
Members and guests of the Center may recognize Barbara from her stewardship of the annual raffle of local goods and services that is held in the Center lobby, with funds going towards many of the Center’s special programs for children and adults. In all that she has done for the Center, Barbara’s passion has been evident. “What a wonderful place we have created here!” she exclaimed in an article highlighting her love for Berkshire South. The public will be invited to spend a fun evening at the Center enjoying great entertainment, delicious food, and the camaraderie of friends, old and new. We hope you’ll join us to congratulate Barbara and have fun at the Gala this year.
