Berkshire South is Honored to Announce Barbara Manring’s Return to Its Board
Berkshire South Regional Community Center is honored to announce that community advocate Barbara Manring has rejoined its Board of Trustees, making a committed and dedicated board only stronger. An enthusiastic supporter of Berkshire South since its doors opened in 2002, Barbara has been involved on many levels and in a variety of capacities, including Trustee, fitness trainer, and as a member of the Center’s Fund Development Committee, among others.
A dynamic presence in the Southern Berkshire community, Barbara will serve to further deepen the relationship between the Center, its active Board and the public at large. As an organization committed to addressing the needs of its constituents of all ages and abilities, Berkshire South is fortunate to have Trustees who work tirelessly to align the Center’s many offerings with the community’s needs. With her finger on the pulse of the Town, Barbara will be a greatly valued asset in this role.
As one who has been a part of the Center since it began, Barbara brings a depth of involvement and experience connecting Berkshire South to its exciting past while actively ensuring its vibrant future. “We are so fortunate to be adding an ideal candidate to an already strong and committed Board,” Chair Ethel Patterson said. “Over and above bringing a wealth of experience in health and wellness, fund raising and governance to the Center, Barbara is also such a pleasure to work with.”
When taking into account the many activities and organizations that Barbara enjoys and participates in, Berkshire South is most grateful for her dedication to our mission and work. Her contributions as a Trustee will be both significant and deeply appreciated. Berkshire South is delighted to welcome her back to the Board!
The mission of Berkshire South Regional Community Center is to build a sense of community and common purpose throughout the region, and to enhance the recreational, educational, cultural, health and social well-being of the residents of the Southern Berkshires.
