Action Adventures Day Camp 2017
Please join us for our full-day, fun-filled, theme-based, summer camp for children entering first grade to age 12. We focus on a different theme each week and each integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) along with crafts, projects, games, group activities, swimming, sports, outdoor experiences and field trips. Our focus is on activities that foster critical thinking and development of self-awareness, respect, tolerance, empathy, honesty and kindness. Day Camp is offered on a weekly basis. Action Adventures Day Camp Discounts and Incentives
• 15% sibling discount.

• Register and pay for all 10 weeks of camp by May 15 and receive a 10% discount.

• Register and pay for 4 or more weeks by May 15 and receive a 5% discount.

Discounts may not be combined.

Quality Enhancements in After-school and Out-of-School Time  including summer camp provided by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education FY 17 grant.

Going Green
June 26-30
Become a champion of the planet. What is one thing can you do, each day to help save the planet earth?  Explore the world of recycling including finding ways to use items that would ordinarily be discarded, turning them into toys, sculptures and even a cardboard town.

Celebrate our nation’s birthday with a Star-Spangled All-American Adventure. Join the Red White and Blue team as we explore the best kept secrets of our great nation’s history.

Everyone’s an Artist 
July 10-14
Come and be an artist with us!  We will explore the world of contemporary art by creating individual and group works using various media. We’ll even create life-size paintings!

Blast from the Past 
July 17-21
Discover technology, music and fun times from the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

Museum in miniature
July 24-28
Join us in building a miniature natural history museum.  Create dioramas of animals and plants in their native habitats, an aquarium, and ancient civilizations.  At the end of the week see your work turn into a life size museum with a trip to Berkshire Museum.

Jungle Safari
July 31- August 4
Join us in the Berkshire South tropical paradise. Decode a pirate’s map, find buried treasure and celebrate with a Hawaiian Luau. This adventure would not be complete without wacky water games!

Uncover Your Hidden Talents
August 7-11
There is an actor, singer and dancer is all of us. Turn a dream into reality while we explore the world of performing arts and find your own unique talent.

Time to ExperimentAugust 14 – 18
Bring out the scientist in you!  Discover different forms of science from icky sticky fun to the stars in the sky. How do things inflate? What properties of water make ship float?  We will also look at the mysterious inner workings of the human body.

Action Adventures Olympic Games
August 21-25
The Olympics are a celebration of friendship, unity and peace. Learn about the history and accomplishments of famous Olympians.  We will highlight the athlete in everyone and bring home the gold.

Tentative week:  The Great Outdoors 
August 28-September 1  
Join us on a day-time camping trip as we explore the many wonderful gifts of nature.  Build a campsite in the woods while we learn about local mammals, insects and plants and also share our favorite camp stories and songs.
