Berkshire South’s NEW Cardio Center Opens Monday, August 3rd!

 

We are operating on a reduced schedule . Monday through Friday reservations can be made on the hour starting at 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday reservations can be made starting at 7 a.m. through 11 a.m.

In this stage of phase 1 of Berkshire South’s reopening, we welcome back those who wish to use our Cardio Equipment! Below are important details to take note of before heading over. Please read carefully. 

  • At this time, strength training, free weights and stationary cable machines are not available.  

  • Reservations are required! Walk-ins will not be permitted. To make a reservation, please call the front desk at (413) 528-2810, ext. 10.

  • Reservations can be made on the hour in 50 minute increments.

  • Reservations for the NuStep Machine and Rower must be made separately. 

  • Leaving a voicemail or an email does not count as a reservation. Please make sure to connect with a front desk associate before coming to the Center.

  • Members may call for a reservation starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 31st.
    • Each week, reservations can be made for the following week starting at 9 a.m. on the previous Friday.

  • At this time, members are permitted to make three reservations per week (this includes pool reservations); however, it is possible to call the day of to add additional visits, availability permitting.  Please be patient with us as we adjust to the new normal, we know that many of you would like to make more than three reservations at a time, if we find that there is sufficient availability, we will update the policies and procedures.  
  • At this time, reservations are for active members over the age of 13 only. Walk-ins, day passes, guests of members or complimentary passes will not be allowed. For more information on how to become a member, please visit us here.

  • If you must cancel your reservation, 24 hours notice is required. Three no-shows or late cancellations will result in a two-week suspension.

Everything Fitness

● All cardio equipment has been moved and spaced out properly to practice social fitnessing in the gymnasium! However, due to the reconfiguration, the tv’s will not be available. Please be sure to bring your tablet, phone or your own reading materials

● Reading Material will no longer be provided and due to the reconfiguration of the cardio equipment. Please be sure to bring your tablet, phone or your own reading materials.

● All free weights, benches and stationary weight machines will remain in the fitness room properly spaced out by Massachusetts orders.

● Group fitness classes will continue to run online only through Zoom. For more information on group fitness classes, please visit here

● Fitness attendants will clean machines in between uses and throughout the day. In addition, members will be provided with cleaning materials to wipe down their fitness equipment and any surfaces they touch throughout the building.

● Members must wipe equipment before and after your workout.

● Stretch mats will not be available. Standing stretch guides are available upon request.

● Showers are not available now! Please come dressed and ready to work out as locker room usage is restricted and to minimize your time in the building.

● All members must check in with the front desk upon entering the building to confirm their reservation.
