NEW!  Tai Chi / Qi Gong for Wellness
Beginners Introduction Class
with Barbara Penn

Explore the benefits of Tai Chi in this introductory program. This class will help you to repair, strengthen and improve overall internal and external balance and stability, with accessible exercises perfect for everyone, regardless of fitness level. Exercises can be done seated or standing with appropriate modifications for all levels of ability and physical challenges. The class will also include meditations to deeply relax the mind and body. Learn to focus and reduce stress while you strengthen the immune system, breathing with ease in Barbrara’s Tai Chi class.

Intermediate/Advanced Class
Open to all adults who are interested in deepening their Tai Chi practice. This class will incorporate the more advanced principles of Tai Chi, including longer forms; some forms will be done to contemporary music to “Dance the Tai Chi”. This class is suggested for those with a minimum of two years’ experience in Tai Chi who can do a form or have been in the class for the past year. Harvard University studies have listed the many benefits of Tai Chi including reducing stress, better health, overall improvement in physical fitness.

NOAH Lending Library
Stop by the Arts & Crafts room and check out our supply of books related to personal wellness and spiritual health.   The library has books, CD’s and videos that cover all topics of holistic healing including chronic illness, dietary management, stress management and more. Books, videos and CD’s are available for free temporary usage through our lending library process.  Please note that when the Arts & Crafts Room is booked for a rental or program, the library is not available. Please call the front desk for the daily availability.
