Front Desk Associate

Must be a professional, hardworking, computer-literate individual to manage all front desk responsibilities. High School Diploma and customer service experience. Office Management, basic clerical and data entry skills. Computer and software knowledge, ability to work in a fast paced environment, be friendly, professional, have a positive attitude, ensure optimal level of customer services for all members and manage all communication, and administer and perform efficiently and accurately all cashier functions. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and some holidays. This is a part-time position with hours varying from 5:45 a.m.- 8:30 p.m. Rate of pay starts at $12 per hour.

Assistant Fitness Manager

Responsibilities include fitness center scheduling and supervision, management of teen exercise/nutrition program, oversee regular maintenance of fitness equipment, maintain appearance of fitness center. 20 hours per week. Qualifications: Experience in fitness industry, management, supervision, and customer service. Personal training and group exercise instructor qualifications a plus.

Sunshine Preschool Lead Teacher

Lead preschool teacher needed to manage our busy, year-round, state-licensed preschool. Position includes classroom management, curriculum planning and implementation, and regular assessment of children. The lead teacher must hold lead teacher certification by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). This person needs to hold current First Aid certification (or obtain with 60 days of hire) and renew Pediatric CPR certification annually as well as complete 20 hours of professional development each year. In addition, all employees must undergo a criminal background check. This position is full time, 40 hours per week, with benefits.

Fitness Floor Trainer

Seeking a Fitness Center Floor Trainer for part-time position. $11-12/hr based on certifications and experience. Individual should be positive, have excellent customer service skills and be passionate about health and wellness. Responsibilities include orienting members to fitness equipment, upholding center policies, responding to first aid needs, cleaning equipment and ensuring a positive fitness experience for all guests. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and CPR/First Aid certified. FitTour certification (or equivalent) is required. FitTour Certifications can be acquired within 30 days of hire.  All employees receive a membership to the Community Center.

Substitute Manager on Duty

This position has the capability of covering weekends, evenings and special event shifts during the year.  The Manager on Duty will oversee the facility during operating hours ensuring a safe recreational environment always while on duty.  This person must have: Strong leadership skills, Strong work ethic/reliable, Team Player, Customer service/able to handle & resolve problems, maintain a professional appearance, Trustworthy, CPR/First Aid certified.

Preschool Teacher (Substitute)

EEC-qualified preschool teacher needed 2 afternoons per week plus occasional subbing. Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:30-5:30. Must have or obtain CPR & First Aid certifications.

After School Group Leader

Seeking an After-School Group Leader for our state-licensed school-age child care program. Looking for someone for 3-4 afternoons, from 3-6 p.m., each week plus full days when school is closed for holidays, in-services, and snow days. CPR & First Aid certification required within 30 days of employment.


Positions open for multiple shifts at the Community Center. Individual will provide close supervision of swimmers, rescue swimmers who are in danger, administer first aid, rescue breathing or CPR as needed. Responsible for enforcing all pool rules and regulations and for preparing and maintaining a safe, clean aquatics center environment as part of duties. Individual will support upkeep tasks in the pool area, conduct water tests, and attend all staff training sessions. Must be responsible, and current in Lifeguard training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. Must be at least 16 years of age.

Childcare Providers

Experienced, professional child-oriented people needed to provide substitute care for infants and children in our Stay and Play program and our Sunshine Preschool.  Per diem with convenient morning or evening hours available. CPR & First Aid certification required within 30 days of employment.

Substitute Fitness Instructors

Seeking on-call, certified group fitness instructors to serve the needs of current clientele teaching cardio/med/high intensity classes. The ideal instructor should be passionate about health and wellness, ambitious, positive, and motivated to see clientele meet their fitness goals. Instructor must be certified to teach groups. Preference is given to experienced individuals who are knowledgeable about current fitness trends, can present a diverse exercise experience and who can work with all levels of ability.
