Among many songs, you’ll hear “Because of You,” “Put on a Happy Face,” “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” and “Fly Me to the Moon.”

The Academy Award-winning composer, recording artist, and concert headliner, Burt Bacharach, changed our musical landscape with his unique new sound. Among his many songs you’ll hear are “Alfie,” “Raindrops Keep Fallin on My Head,” “That’s What Friends are For,” and many more. He was married to Harvey’s cousin, Carole Bayer Sager. You’ll hear some of her Academy Award-winning songs along with stories you can’t hear anywhere else!

The Shining Star Supplemental Holiday Program

The Shining Star Holiday Program is an opportunity for community members to offer added support to those who could use it during the holiday season.
Applicants for support are anonymously matched with generous community donors who want to help bring joy to families in the Berkshires.
The Shining Star Holiday Program provides an opportunity for community members to purchase gifts for other local people who could use some additional support during the holiday season. *All information is kept strictly confidential.

The dinner will be held in our spacious ballroom for comfortable seating and a pleasurable dining experience. This year’s meal is strictly an IN PERSON event, therefore we will not be able to package any meals to go. Each person that attends will be entered into a raffle to win a free 3 month membership! Our annual Fall Arts & Crafts Festival is an opportunity to find unique gifts for the holidays while supporting our local maker economy. Visit the event to hear live music, eat great food, and shop a variety of the amazing vendors from our community.

Berkshire South Regional Community Center is hosting Toasting and Tasting for Berkshire South on Saturday, October 14th. This ticketed fundraiser event features a tasting of libations from local wine merchants, brewers, cideries, and distilleries paired with light fare from KJ Nosh. There will be live music, a silent auction, and more! All proceeds will be used to support the Center’s Financial Assistance program. In the past year, Berkshire South has given over $125,000 in financial assistance to individuals, families, and people with adaptive needs. It is through continued community support that we are able to provide assistance to people who need it most.

Berkshire South’s All 4 Moms event includes four elements: a family-friendly lunch, family photo shoot mini sessions, a drop-off childcare area where children will make crafts, and a crafts fair full of beautiful things made by local vendors!
