Every Body Bounces is a monthly two-hour bounce party created especially for families with adaptive needs children. This fun, welcoming event offers space to move freely, explore at your own pace, and enjoy inflatable play in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
Whether your child loves to leap, prefers gentle motion, or simply enjoys being part of the fun, this event celebrates movement, connection, and community. Bring your own snacks and drinks, this all about the bounce! Come as you are. Bounce how you like.
Members & Guests: $3 ticket per bouncer
Caregivers, parents, and guardians attend for free.
Note: There will be a quiet space available for any bouncers and families that need a break from all the bouncing action.

Get ready to cheer, compete, and laugh your way through a night of family fun! Join us for a live, game-show style Family Game Night, where teams go head-to-head in a series of fun challenges, quizzes, and competitions. From trivia and physical games to creative contests and a few surprises, you never know what’s coming next!
Teams of two or more (representing at least two generations) will take the stage to test their knowledge, teamwork, and sense of humor—all in front of a lively, supportive audience. Some games will call for audience participation, so be sure to bring friends along to tip the scales in your favor! Prizes range from bragging rights and delightfully silly treasures to Berkshire South goodies and gift certificates from around town.

Join us for our annual event to benefit our Adaptive Swim Program. Swim a little or swim a lot. Or, sign up for one of our two special adaptive-focused swim classes the day of the event. Every lap and splash makes an impact!

Hop ‘Til We Drop Egg Hunt

Celebrate spring with a community egg hunt party designed for all ages! Children will participate in age-appropriate egg hunts, create spring crafts, and refuel with kid-friendly snacks. It’s a cheerful, high-energy event perfect for making memories together—come hop along with us! It’s sure to be a hoppin’ good time you won’t want to miss!

Monster Mash was so much fun, we’re keeping the good times going with another joyful, all-ages celebration of the everyday love shared between family.
Enjoy two full hours of music, movement, and family fun. Best of all, dinner is included! We’re serving pizza, salad, soda, and dessert. It’s a fun and easy way to spend a Friday night with family (and still get everyone home in time for bed). What’s not to love?

Kick off your shopping for the season at our annual Community Craft Market! Find handmade and artisan goods, unique gifts, baked treats, and preserves offered by artists and small businesses in the Berkshires. This year’s event will be held inside our gymnasium and in our side parking lot. All ages welcome!

Monster Mash Family Dance Party!

All Ages
Calling all goblins, superheroes, and princesses to the dance floor! Join us for spooky (not scary!) family dance fun! Don’t miss out on tasty treats (made with love by Berkshire South Volunteers) including dirt cake, hot dog mummies, pumpkin patch brownies, monster mac and cheese, and more! Have fun at the craft table to decorate pumpkins, take a selfie in the selfie lounge, and hit the disco dance floor!
With balloon art by Balloon Ben, face painting, and more, this all-ages event is sure to delight the dance-happy kids in your life. Light (nonalcoholic) refreshments and snacks are included!
*KIDS UNDER 5 ARE FREE! Please pre-register online if you can. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

Help keep your community warm this winter by donating your extra coats and jackets at collection boxes throughout the Southern Berkshires, including BSRCC! Other new or lightly used winter items are welcome. Please be sure items are clean, mildew/stain free, and zippers are working. The public is welcome to select items for free on distribution day.

5k Fall Fun Run

Join us for our 5K Fall Fun Run (3.1 miles) through the scenic Great Barrington airport area. Race proceeds support our TONE (Teen Outreach Nutrition Exercise) Youth Fitness program. There will be a family scavenger hunt with prizes and cider donuts for children. Free T-shirt and cider for 5k participants! There will also be food, music, and raffles.

Put your cornhole skills to the test at Berkshire South’s first-ever Cornhole Tournament! Teams of two will compete in a Double Elimination tournament to win local bragging rights and a $200 cash prize! The competition is open to players ages 18+. No experience necessary! Preregistration is encouraged. Walk-up teams are welcome until 3:00pm. This family-friendly event will have a variety of yard games, food, non-alcoholic beverages, local beer by Big Elm Brewing, music, and raffles! Join us for a day of friendly competition all while supporting a great cause. Proceeds benefit Berkshire South’s youth and community programs.
Please note, no outside alcohol allowed.
*In the event of inclement weather, event will be moved indoors to the gymnasium.

Chase your winter blues away with a live concert at Berkshire South! For the first time in years, Berkshire Ukulele Band and Berkshire Sings are back to perform a selection of fun and familiar tunes (and maybe some not-so-familiar songs) accompanied by an audience sing along or two!
Berkshire Ukulele Band and Berkshire Sings! are supported in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the following local cultural councils: Alford-Egremont, Great Barrington, Lee, Lenox, Monterey, New Marlborough, Otis, Sandisfield, Sheffield, and Stockbridge.
