UPDATED NOTICE: Center Closure

Dear Friends of Berkshire South,

Berkshire South Regional Community Center will be closed until further notice. We will be able to open only as permitted by the MA Governor’s Phased Reopening plan for our industry.  We are currently making plans for how we will reopen the Community Center facility keeping in mind the safety and wellness of each of you.  Please be prepared for a gradual reopening of services and spaces to ensure the greatest degree of protection for our community.

Membership Status: The Center is prepared to freeze memberships during this time. However, due to financial hardship that this situation is causing, we are doing so only by request. If you can consider continuing your membership during the closure, we would be deeply appreciative. To freeze your membership, please email info@berkshiresouth.org. If you would like a donation receipt for the amount of membership that you have “donated” to the Center during this time, please let us know.

Your Help Is Needed: Like many other small businesses and nonprofits, we are worried about the future of the Center. We have no income during this closure, though our expenses remain. Please consider making a gift to sustain us during this difficult time using the link on the right. Other ways that you can help buying a Berkshire South gift certificate or a Berkshire South t-shirt, or by becoming a Champion Member now by renewing your membership early or purchasing a new membership today. We are so very grateful to all of you who have reached out to us to learn how you might help.

We miss you all and look forward to welcoming you back to the Center as soon as possible. Until then, please take advantage of the classes that we’ve been offering virtually. You can learn more about them on our Facebook page, or by subscribing to our e-blasts.

All best wishes to you and yours.
Jenise Lucey, Executive Director
