UPDATED NOTICE: Open for lap swim with reservation! Call (413) 528-2810, ext. 10.

We have MISSED you all! More than any other thing, we want you to know how empty our halls and fitness areas have felt while you were gone, how strange and quiet. We realize everything is new and changed, and invention is becoming the ordinary as opposed to the surprising. The rules which allow us to open are limiting, yet we are moving forward so we may be safely together again.

As a community, we must remain diligent with the three C’s: Cover, Clean, and Contain, in order to continue to meet the health data markers that indicate transition into each new reopening phase. We at Berkshire South are following Federal, State and Local Health & Safety Guidelines to help us all stay safe upon reopening. We are taking these precautions seriously as we invite our members back into our building! Like the state, Berkshire South has developed a gradual reopening model with phases which will be revised based on the progress we’ve made in helping to slow the spread of COVID-19.

This pandemic has taught us a lot about being flexible. Please be patient with us as plans are developed and guidance changes. Health and safety is our priority!

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Your Community Nonprofit: Berkshire South.

Our mission is to build a sense of community and common purpose throughout the region, and to enhance the recreational, educational, cultural, health and social well-being of the residents of the Southern Berkshires. Berkshire South is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization open to all, regardless of ability to pay.

Be a part of something special. Come be a part of our community!
The Community Center, a nonprofit entity, offers a significant array of programs for people of all ages. We continue to meet the needs of all and strive to be a location where people are linked with opportunity and local resources. From the senior citizen who builds a friendship in the water therapy class, to the family sharing a meal with others at a Community Supper, we are the Center by which they connect, encouraging all to build a sense of community and common purpose.
