Aquatics Manager
We are seeking an Aquatics Manager responsible for overseeing the administrative, programmatic, operational and member service functions of the aquatics department. Preschool Toddler Teacher
We are seeking an energetic and passionate EEC-Certified Toddler/Preschool Teacher to join our growing early childhood education team. The hours for the position are Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm until late August and 8:30 am–5:30 pm during the school year.
In this role, you will implement classroom activities, develop engaging curriculum, and support the developmental needs of toddlers and preschoolers. Lead Preschool Teacher
Sunshine Preschool is seeking a year-round full-time Lead Preschool Teacher for children ages two years and nine months to five years old. The teacher’s primary responsibility is to provide a developmentally appropriate, high quality early childhood experience for the children enrolled in Sunshine Preschool. Candidates must have or be near to obtaining a MA Department of Early Education and Care Lead Preschool Teacher certification. At minimum, the successful candidate must be 21+ years old, must have their high school diploma, have Teacher Certification, prior preschool-age work experience and be working on coursework for certification.
The candidate must demonstrate advanced understanding of the growth and development of children and must use knowledge of the value of family engagement to support families and children. Ability to work with a team to meet the individual needs of the children is essential.
Bilingual candidates and candidates pursuing or already holding EEC Lead Teacher certification are encouraged to apply. Reimbursement for coursework may be available. Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Part Time Positions
Membership Associate (Front Desk Staff)
Seeking friendly, customer-focused Membership Associates to join our front desk team. Current shifts available include nights and weekends (weekdays 3:30-8:30 pm and weekend flexibility), approximately 15-20 hours per week.
This position serves as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service, processing memberships and program registrations, and offering information about the Center’s offerings. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, comfortable with computers, and enjoys working in a community-centered environment. A successful candidate will be hardworking, engaging, professional, and an adept team-centered person. This position requires an individual to manage the point-of-sale register, phone lines, registration for programs, membership enrollments, and various levels of general membership inquiry. Computer literacy and customer service experience are required.
LIFEGUARDS
Part-time positions open for multiple shifts at Berkshire South Aquatics Center. We are also HIRING SUMMER 2026 LIFEGUARDS for our pool and waterfront locations.*
Individuals will provide close supervision of swimmers, rescue swimmers who are in danger, administer first aid, rescue breathing or CPR as needed. Responsible for enforcing all pool rules and waterfront regulations and for preparing and maintaining a safe, clean environment as part of duties. Individuals will support upkeep tasks in the pool, conduct water tests of pools, and attend all staff training sessions. Guards will be expected to work indoor shifts in addition to outdoors, if the option is available. Potential for long-term employment based on availability. Shifts available from 4-30 hours per week.Â
Applicants Must:
- have a current lifeguard and CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willing to take one of our courses – full reimbursement opportunity available)
- 15+ years old
Pay ranges from $17.25-$20 per hour. EOE
*Lifeguards seeking shifts at waterfront locations must have a valid Waterfront Certification.

Newly hired lifeguards will receive full reimbursement of their in-house BSRCC lifeguarding course fees if they work 100 hours within their first year of employment (following course completion date), and remain in good standing at their one-year work anniversary.

Out-Of-School Time Site Coordinator
We’re seeking a dynamic, organized, and child-focused individual to serve as our Out-of-School Site Coordinator for our Action Adventures program. This role is responsible for the overall daily operation and supervision of our out-of-school time programming—including after-school activities and full-day programs during vacation weeks, in-service days, and weather-related closures.

The Site Coordinator will oversee all program staff, ensure a safe, engaging environment for children, and serve as the primary liaison for families, staff, and community partners.

Applicants Must:
- Meet EEC requirements for a Site Coordinator (or be willing to obtain)
- Be CPR/First Aid certified (or be willing to become certified).
- Have at least one year of hands-on experience working with school-aged children and demonstrated experience supervising staff.
Hours will be primarily Monday–Friday, afternoon hours during the school year (e.g., 2:30–5:30 PM). Full-day availability required on vacation weeks, snow days, and school holidays. Day Camp Counselors
Seeking enthusiastic and dedicated camp counselors to join our Action Adventures Day Camp this summer. Must be at least 16 years old. Candidates must be able to work and communicate with children ages 5-14 of differing skill levels and provide them with the necessary instruction. Counselors will lead a multitude of interest activities such as arts and crafts, athletics, group games, and more, and must be able to maintain their activity area. Must be available from 8:00am-5:00pm from June 15 through August 21.
