On November 27th & 28th, we installed the NEW hot water boiler that heats the Norris Aquatics Center’s pools. During the replacement endeavor, the water temperature dropped around 10 degrees, causing us to temporarily close the Norris Aquatics Center. As of 3:45pm on November 29th, the new hot water boiler has been successfully installed and the pools are gradually being brought back up to temperature! This is a slow process (raising water temperature about 2 degrees every 12 hours) but we anticipate the pools being warm enough to reopen by this weekend. (December 2nd or 3rd)

It is our hope that by midday on November 28th, the new boiler will be installed and the pools will start to be heated again! As always, we will be notifying the front desk of the pool temperatures and will post any updates on the Aquatics webpage.

We still need to raise an additional $19k to cover the cost of replacing the hot water boiler. Please consider making a donation at the link below! Every gift makes a difference!

Pool Hours & Schedule

New Weekly Pool Hours:

Optimal Times To Swim Laps & Exercise In The Pool (March 29 - April 21)

Monday to Friday 6:30 am – 4:00 & 6:30 pm-8 pm pm

Saturday 7:30 am – 9:00 am, 11:30 am – 4:30 pm

Sunday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

As always, we endeavor to have open lanes for our lap swimmers and water exercisers during all programming.  Unless indicated in the link above, whenever the pool is open there will be space for lap/open swim even if limited due to group classes or private lessons.

*Lap swimmers may be asked to split lanes or circle swim, as it is impossible to predict how many patrons will arrive to swim at any given time. If other patrons are waiting to enter the pool, please keep your workout to 30 minutes. Thank you!
