2025 AADC Weekly Themes

Week 1: June 23rd - June 27th, Superheroes in Training

Grab your capes and jet packs and come soar into the world of superheroes during this jam-packed week of camp adventures. Not only will you train to be a superhero, but you’ll meet inspiring, real life superheroes from our community!

A long time ago in a camp NOT so far away…. Bring your droids and light sabers as we blast off into the galaxy! Campers will spend the week exploring the moon, stars, planets, and galaxies that fill our universe. Our future explorers will create crafts, conduct experiments, and take part in other exciting outer space-related activities.

Explore the wonders of science through mud, nature, and slimy experiments! From the kitchen to the forest, we’ll devise ooey-gooey chemistry concoctions as we explore the natural environment.

Don your armor and prepare for a tournament of knights! Create a coat of arms or a wizard wand, and watch counselors become jesters as they perform dances and jokes. Spend the week in a spectacular world inspired by magical places and ancient myths!

Let the wild rumpus start and get out where the wild things are! Journey all over camp as you experiment with messy science projects, track monsters across the land, and make new friends.

Come one, come all, to our annual AADC Talent Show! Throughout the week, campers will showcase their unique skills and take on multiple roles as they become performers, acrobats, jokesters, and more! But that’s not all—this week also includes a variety of skill-building and team-oriented activities for everyone to enjoy.

Splish, splash, we’re going to have a blast! If there is one thing we can count on in the summer, it’s that it is going to be hot! Campers will dive into the depths of the ocean, explore water through science, and of course get super soaked with all of our water-filled games.

Young artists will get to explore, create, and make lots of messy, colorful and fun creations! Let us bring out your inner artist as you get creative this week painting, drawing, collaging, and more.

For our grand finale, campers will decide the activities! All of your favorite activities get one last hurrah! Campers can relive the most popular activities of the summer all in just one week—from water games to wacky science. Close out the summer with the very best of Action Adventures!
