Berkshire South Regional Community Center is a firm believer that by working together with other community organizations, our resources can be maximized and our impact in the community will be amplified. We are committed to ensuring that the efforts of our partners are not duplicated throughout our programs. As participants in several local human service cohorts, we are able to ensure that key issues facing our community are addressed in a multifaceted manner. Listed below are some of the Center’s key partnerships.

Berkshire South is a host site for ELL programming for BCC. The Center also collaborates with BCC to offer programming such as Choke Saver Training.

Berkshire Harm Reduction

The Berkshire Harm Reduction Mobile Outreach RV utilizes the Berkshire South parking lot every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 11AM-12PM, offering free health care and safety services. PLEASE NOTE: These services are paused for the winter. The Harm Reduction RV will resume utilizing our parking lot in the spring.

Berkshire Health Systems

BSRCC is home to the aqua-therapy program of the group’s physical therapy arm.

BSRCC is home to the Monument Mountain Regional High School Spartans Swim Team.

Berkshire United Way

BSRCC is a funded partner of the BUW.

Community Support Options & The Family Resource Center of Great Barrington

We partner on program referrals and outreach with families.

Community Health Programs

Berkshire South has partnered with CONSTRUCT Inc. by allowing qualifying individuals a “fast track” option to Berkshire South’s generous scholarship program. Recipients of this scholarship are awarded a six-month membership at a 75 percent discount. Vouchers can be obtained through CONSTRUCT directly.

Dept. of Early Education & Care

Our preschool and Out Of School programs are licensed by EEC.

Dept. of Elementary & Secondary Education

BSRCC receives funding from DESE for program enhancements in our licensed programs.

Berkshire South is happy to offer graduates of the Fairview Hospital Cardiac Rehab Program discounts on six month and annual memberships to be able to continue on their road to recovery. Coupons are given by the Rehab Program after a successful completion of the program.

Fairview Hospital Aquatic Therapy

Fairview Hospital Aquatic Therapy program uses the Berkshire South swimming and warm therapy pools to provide skilled physical therapy to their Outpatient Rehab Department patients. This program is open to PT patients by referral only.

Berkshire South is an active member of GB Trails and Greenways, which provides guide assistance with the Center’s free hikes. GB trails further supports the Center by maintaining the Threemile Hill trail located on Berkshire South’s Property.

Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis International club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Kiwanis Club of Sheffield works with Berkshire South on projects that serve the community such as the Back to School Supply Drive.

Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership

Our Out Of School programs receive funding through the partnership.

Massachusetts Cultural Council

MCC supports our programs locally and at the state level to make our programs accessible to the public.

Berkshire South is proud to serve as a food collection site for the People’s Pantry. The Pantry offers a wide selection of foods including shelf stable items such as pasta, rice, and cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, tuna fish and toiletries. Frozen meats and fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, milk and cheese, are also available.

Southern Berkshire Rural Health Network

The mission of Rural Health Network is to develop and sustain an adaptive network of community service providers that works to improve the health and well-being of individuals and families in the South Berkshire community.

Southern Berkshire Community Health Coalition

South Berkshire Community Health Coalition consists of a wide range of organizations, schools, businesses and individuals working to develop a strategic plan for a community-wide approach to reducing risk factors and enhancing protective factors that reduce the high rates of alcohol and drug use among South County teens.

Berkshire South is proud to partner with the Massachusetts Special Olympics by hosting the Red Raiders Swim Team for practices and local competitions.

Town of Great Barrington

The Center provides lifeguards at Lake Mansfield during the summer months.

Town of Monterey

Berkshire South lifeguards staff Lake Garfield during the summer months.

BSRCC partners with VIM on a number of projects. Most recently, the Center has worked with VIM to provide two weeks of summer camp to their clients.
