If you have solar panels in Massachusetts, you can donate your excess energy credits to Berkshire South, helping us reduce operating costs and invest more in programs for everyone. You can literally power our community, with sunshine.

Free For Everyone
You’re invited! Let’s come together as a community this Earth Day and get Berkshire South’s outdoor spaces ready for the season!
Members, guests, and volunteers are invited to join us on April 22. Come for a little bit, or stay all day, it’s up to you! Activities to include garden bed clean up, mulching, litter pick up, weeding, and more. You’re also welcome to join a guided hike with our Fitness Manager, or stay for the installation of our new Peace Pole donated by generous Berkshire South member, Bonsai.
Earth Day Events:
- 10:00 AM Earth Day Hike with Jennifer Austin (no sign up needed if just attending the hike!)
- 11:00 AM Community Clean-Up Projects Begin
- 3:00 PM Peace Pole Ceremony
PLUS! We’ll have free seed packet giveaways, information about our EV charging station discounts, and Berkshire South water bottles for sale in the lobby.
