This FREE program accepts enrollees on a rolling basis.
Register for the TONE program by completing the TONE Packet and signing up for an orientation.

The Teen Outreach Nutrition Exercise (TONE) program aims to improve the health and well-being of young people ages 12 to 18. As participants progress through the 3-month program, they’ll earn a free 6-month Youth Membership and compete for prizes along the way! Each participant must attend a fitness room orientation before starting the program. To complete the program, participants will get a FREE 3-month Berkshire South youth membership which includes access to the Norris Aquatics Center (pool), the Fitzpatrick Fitness Center (exercise equipment), Beinecke Gymnasium (courts and stretch space), and all of our classes. Fee-based classes are also available to TONE program participants at the discounted Member rate.

TONE Requirements:
Each month, the person with the MOST POINTS will EARN A PRIZE! Check the bulletin board to see who are the top 5 participants!
- Fill out and submit the TONE Registration Packet.
- Sign up and attend a TONE orientation. Orientations are REQUIRED before starting the program and will be offered on the 1st Wednesday of the month.
- Get a FREE 6-month membership by earning 350 points and fulfilling the criteria listed below within the 3 months. This includes:
- 25 hours of personal fitness (10 pts/hour=250 points)
- 2 Nutrition Classes (20 pts each=40 pts.) typically held on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 4-4:30PM
- 2 hours of community service (30 pts. each=60 points)
Want to earn more points? You can:
- Log more than 25 hours of personal fitness and earn an extra 10 points/hour
- Attend more than 2 nutrition classes
- Perform more than 2 hours of community service
- Download the Mindshift app, show it to the fitness staff, & score an extra 25 points!
- Answer the weekly nutrition board question correctly and earn an extra 5 points each time


How To Sign-Up:
- Download and complete the TONE Registration Packet linked below. Parent or guardian signature is required. Hard copies are also available at the Berkshire South’s front desk.
- Submit your SIGNED TONE Registration Packet to cbecker@berkshiresouth.org via email or drop it off at the Berkshire South front desk.
- Register and attend a TONE Orientation (linked on the right). We are holding TONE program orientation on the following dates: June 4th at 3:30PM / July 2nd at 3:30PM. Can’t make these dates? Please reach out to Chris at cbecker@berkshiresouth.org
- Start exercising and earning points!

My greatest passion is helping young people develop self-confidence and a lifelong love for fitness by creating a supportive community and offering engaging and fun fitness instruction.
Fitness has been a cornerstone of my life since childhood. In my early 20s, I became a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter. During my 11 years in the MMA world, I learned new ways of moving my body and navigating through tough challenges. This journey instilled in me a deep respect and appreciation for my body and its capabilities. It naturally led me to bodybuilding and becoming a personal trainer.
I love sharing my passion for fitness with people of all ages and witnessing the profound benefits it brings to their lives. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about the TONE program and its benefits!
